We spent the day skiing together for the first time at Frost Fire Park. It was Reganne’s first time ever skiing, and she was excited to try it. She started out a little slow but quickly began to get the hang of things. Early on, she took a rough fall and hurt her shoulder, but she pushed through it and kept going, tougher than she gave herself credit for.
The chairlift was another challenge. Getting off it didn’t go smoothly, which led to some frustration and a few tears, but it didn’t take away from the day. There was still plenty of laughter and fun between runs. We warmed up with lunch and hot cocoa in the lodge and took our time enjoying the experience. It was one of those days that wasn’t perfect, but it was memorable, meaningful, and something we’ll always remember as our first time skiing together.
